North America Motorcar – Danbury, CT – July 29, 2023

Members of the Empire State and New England Regions toured the North America Motorcar
facilities on Saturday, July 29. Many individuals opted to come directly to the site and there were a few
who participated in a mini caravan from Westchester County NY. North America Motorcar “is the
premier destination for auto enthusiasts in the Northeast” according to its website. They offer a full
spectrum of world class services including secure storage for over 250 cars, premium detailing, high-end maintenance, full customization, interiors, metal fabrication, and restoration services.

Master Builder Josh Allison and Custom Builder Ralph Baldwin escorted the group through the facility beginning with the showroom were custom cars and bikes were displayed. These award-winning creations were truly rolling artwork. From there we went into the shop areas where projects currently under construction were viewed. The metal fabrication shop, the interior department, the body and paint shop, and the engine and mechanical area were all part of the tour. Throughout the site we were surprised to see how spotlessly clean this facility was.

The storage facilities at North America Motorcar are second to none with space in temperature-
controlled areas for more than 250 cars. Adjacent to the storage facility was the detailing bay where
cars can get the best of care including dry ice undercarriage cleaning.

In addition to automotive features, including an array of automobilia, the site has an impressive
collection of rock and roll memorabilia that includes pieces from Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, KISS, Elvis,
and others. Our visit ended with a stop at the Glamor + Grit Lounge where we enjoyed a taste of their
own Tennessee whiskey – American Metal. The lounge, along with another onsite venue, the
Bootlegger Speakeasy, are available to host events for car clubs, parties, board meetings, and much
more.

Everyone came away with a fond appreciation of the North America Motorcar facility and many
are looking forward to a return to further enjoy the facilities.
