Great article in the most recent issue of Forza magazine no. 212. Our very own Empire State Region-LI Chapter member, Frank Caponi, was awarded the mother of all FCA awards…. the CoppaGT at the annual meet in Mont Tremblant in 2022. In order to receive this aware, you first have to earn a Platino award at the concours (97 points or above), followed by earning the daunting Coppa Bella Macchina award (everything on your car must work perfectly and you must prove it).
Only then you move onto the CoppaGT where you are one-on-one with a judge on the track at speed, to prove your driving skills. It truly is the holy grail of competition. Well done Frank!
