The Hudson Valley Chapter closed out 2024 with three dynamic events in November and December. First, we had our two monthly Cavallini e Caffe (Horses and Coffee) gatherings on the first and third Sundays of November. The first event was held at the Eastdale Development in Poughkeepsie, NY where many regulars and a new member couple put in an appearance. Welcome aboard – always great to see new faces join the club. The second C&C was at 1600 Veloce in North Salem, NY where 1600 Veloce had reached out to its contacts and invited others to join us for this end of the season gathering. In addition to several Ferrari, we were joined by cars of all ilk including a truly unique Kimera EVO 37. This Lancia D037 restomod is one of 37 in the world. Thanks to 1600 Veloce for sponsoring our gatherings throughout the 2024 year. The annual Holiday Party on December 8 at Rraci’s Restaurant in Brewster Chester, NY once again benefited the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program. Colonel James Maxwell was on hand to accept the donated toys as each person attending had brought a toy. Additionally, the Chapter had purchased more toys to make the “stash” significant. The intimate setting in a private area of Rraci’s made for a most enjoyable party. The group exchanged stories of drives and events of the past year while looking forward to the 2025 season that will begin, hopefully, in February with an event at Wide World Ferrari. The twice-monthly Cavallini e Caffe will begin in April with the annual Spring Rally in May.
