Members of the Hudson Valley Chapter – Empire State Region met at Saltaire Oyster Bar and Fish House in Port Chester, NY on December 3, 2023, for their annual Holiday Dinner. As in previous years, this dinner was a charity event where the Chapter supports and U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots program. Each person attending the dinner brought a toy for a deserving child in the Westchester County area. Sgt Stephen Topilnycky, Westchester County Program Director, was on hand to accept the toys but was unable to stay for dinner as he had several other stops to make that day for other toy pickups. Sgt. Topilnycky presented the Chapter with its Commander’s Award for its donations to the Toys for Tots program. Following dinner, the group discussed forthcoming events of the Chapter including a viewing of the film “Ferrari”, doubling the number of Cavallini e Caffe gatherings in 2024, the Spring Rally in May 2024, and a unique Italian wine tasting of Tenuta Torciano wines in the fall of 2024 during the Fall Drive.
